Most companies do not work with just one large database application, but have several in use. To ensure that operational processes run as smoothly and securely as possible, these applications need to exchange data with each other.
Database interfaces are used for this purpose. Such interfaces can be realised in many different ways. This is done, for example, via file exchange in ASCII format, CSV or XML. With modern interfaces, there are also a wide variety of ways in which they can be addressed - natively or via tools such as Java.
The development and maintenance of database interfaces has been one of our specialities from the very beginning. We have realised interfaces between different Oracle databases: ISI / SAP, or in heterogeneous database environments: KIS / Procars, KIS / Euromistral, KIS / Ciel, KIS / Caesar, Oracle / AS400.
